The Corrections Division of the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office operates the Corrections Center in downtown Toledo. The current facility was built in 1977. It has six housing floors with a recommended capacity of 403 inmates and a booking area with a capacity of 65. The booking area averages 15,430 inmates annually. The current Corrections Administrator is Major David Firddell.

Visitation at the Corrections Center is held Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Visits last 30 minutes and may be attended by one adult unless the visitors are parents or grandparents. Children may also visit accompanied by a parent or legal custodian/guardian. Visits are by appointment only on a first-come, first-served basis. They must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and can be scheduled up to six days in advance. Visitors must be on an approved visitor list and arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Those with active warrants will not be allowed to visit.
